Kwikbit was founded in 2016 to develop next generation millimeter wave technology to deliver Broadband 2.0 to more people and places. In 2019, Kwikbit launched its first line of commercial 60 GHz products for both indoor and outdoor use cases.

From the start, the Kwikbit team was made up of experts with experience in both the vendor and operator side of wireless broadband. Our headquarters and engineering team are based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, while executive leadership is in the Bay Area. As the team has grown, we continue to build a diverse and deep set of experiences allowing us to inform our product development and continue to create innovative technology, like our next generation of millimeter-wave radios and network automation.

Joe Costello

Joe is CEO of Kwikbit, where he brings over 30 years of experience in the space. Joe served as CEO within the EDA (electronic design automation) space, where he helped teams create leading technology in the industry. From early in his career, Joe was attracted to solving problems within technology and making internet more accessible. In 2004, Joe received the Phil Kaufman Award, for his service to the EDA industry. Joe has served on multiple boards, including Oracle, Macromedia, Clarify, and others. Joe received a BA from Harvey Mudd and a master’s degree in physics from Yale and UC Berkeley.

Vladimir Kelman

Vladimir is President and CTO of Kwikbit where he guides strategy and development of Kwikbit’s technology. With more than 20 years experience in the mobile broadband and internet industry, Vladimir has been at the forefront of many groundbreaking efforts, including the development of the first widely deployed NLOS broadband access system. Prior to Kwikbit, Vladimir was co-founder and VP of Development for NextNet Wireless (acquired by Motorola). NextNet developed pre-4G broadband access products that were deployed by Clearwire and other service providers worldwide. Vladimir holds a BSEE degree from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, and a Master of Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Minnesota.

Eliodoro “Bong” Batingana

Bong is CFO of Kwikbit, where he brings knowledge to scaling business operations, financial strategy and growth strategy. Bong has over twenty years of combined experience both public/private technology industry and Big 4 public accounting. Bong previously worked as CFO of Enlighted who architected the successful M&A to Siemens. He has obtained a continuing study at Stanford University, Masters in Management at Asian Institute of Management in Phil., BS in Accounting at Ateneo University in Phil, and holds a California CPA license and a Certified Global Management Accountant. Bong is an active member of Financial Executives International-Silicon Valley, American Institute of Certified Public Accountant, Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, and CalCPA.

Chris Haidet

Chris is Chief Revenue Officer at Kwikbit, responsible for all global sales and global sales operations. With over 35 years of sales and sales management experience, Haidet has extensive knowledge and expertise in building, leading strategic sales forces, and increasing revenues. Prior to Kwikbit, Chris held other Sales leadership roles as Vice President of Sales for Americas at Mavenir, Vice President of North American Sales at Syniverse, inCode Telecom Group, and Wireless Facilities Inc. (WFI). Haidet holds a B.S. from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.

Gregory Kaster

Greg is VP of Operations where he leads supply chain and manufacturing operations at Kwikbit. Greg brings over 25 years of experience, including head of supply chain management and business operations at Nokia, as well as Motorola and NextNet. Greg received his BS from North Dakota State University in Electrical Engineering.

Kyle Krug

Kyle is VP of Marketing & Business Development where he leads business development and growth marketing strategy. Kyle brings more than fifteen years of experience in broadband wireless industry, both with vendors and operators. Previously responsible for business development and sales territory management (US, Canada, Asia-Pacific) at NextNet Wireless and Motorola. Prior to that, Kyle was Director of Technology at Prairie iNet, a pioneer wireless internet service provider that covered 4 Midwest states. Kyle got his BA in Economics at University of Northern Iowa.
